We are Emily and Tom. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We are thrilled that you would consider us as prospective adoptive parents. Thank you for choosing the gift of life. Please know you are in our prayers as you make these difficult decisions. We have prayed over how to best start our family and are so grateful for the Lord guiding us to adopt. Please read on to learn more about us!
Tom was born and raised in Connecticut but met Emily (a Cincinnati native) during graduate school in Virginia. We have been married for 9 years and currently reside in Northern Kentucky since 2019. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood with many growing families as neighbors. We love to host events at our house, whether it’s a holiday, birthday party, or casual cook out or game night – family and friends love coming over! We have put time and attention into creating a place we love coming home to. There is plenty of space for our growing family.
When not working we enjoy spending time on nearby hiking trails, visiting parks, volunteering at our church, and lounging on our front porch or back deck overlooking two lakes. Emily’s large fun-loving family is nearby with many aunts and uncles plus cousins ranging in age between 2 and 32. Two of Emily’s cousins were gained through adoption! We get together at every opportunity for family fun, sometimes having sleepovers at our house with the younger cousins or meeting up for dinner out.
We understand that you as an expectant parent will make incredibly hard decisions. Please know we will provide unconditional support and love to you and your child. We are equipped with an amazing support system of parents, siblings, extended family, and many wonderful friends that will cherish our future children. We promise to provide endless love, care, and opportunities. We can’t stress enough how excited we are to start our family through adoption!
