Hello! We are Steven and Lindsay. We would first like to thank you for choosing the gift of life. It has been our dream to become parents, and adoption has been on our hearts ever since we started to experience infertility. We have been praying for you, and we are here for you on the journey. We hope that getting a glimpse into our life will help your decision to become as easy as possible. We are forever grateful for you and this opportunity.

Our love for children brought us together in 2015 when we met while teaching at the same school. We got married in 2017 in the Church that was a part of our school, and many of our students sang in the choir at our wedding. Currently, Lindsay teaches kindergarten and has been a teacher for 11 years. Her love for teaching has included using her talents of art/crafts, singing, dancing, and creatively working with young children to help them learn and grow. She has been a coach for a running club for young girls called Girls on the Run and has participated in Bible Study for the past seven years. Steven currently teaches High School Sophomore World History, coaches Academic Team, and has been a teacher for 13 years. We have treasured time with our students, our nine nieces and nephews, and friends’ children. This joy for working with children each day will most certainly carry over to being the best parents we could possibly be.

When we are not teaching, we enjoy spending quality time together with our families, our friends, and with our sweet Cavapoo, Winnie. Our dog, Winnie, is one of those pups that everyone gets along with. She enjoys playing with her toys, cuddling, and taking walks with us. We look forward to bringing a baby into our home to meet her. Our home is located in a quaint and quiet suburban neighborhood, just minutes away from local parks, schools, and downtown Cincinnati. We have a nice finished basement and a spacious backyard for our future children to play in, as well as a neighborhood pool that we can walk to in the summertime.

Some of our favorite hobbies include: taking walks, running together, bike riding on local trails, movie nights, playing board games, sporting events, and getting ice cream. We have fun attending seasonal events such as Cincinnati’s Festival of Lights, Reds and Bengals games, Kentucky Keeneland horse races, pumpkin patches, and the Krohn Conservatory butterfly show in Eden Park. Our families go on annual vacations together, which allows us to create lasting memories. Both of our moms were former preschool teachers and enjoy watching their grandkids. They look forward to being able to watch our future children full time while we are at work. Our family is our support system, and they have always been there for us and excited about our adoption journey.

It has been our hope and dream to raise a child, and we promise to raise him or her to become faithful, kind, and courageous. We promise to teach, coach, and inspire him or her to be all that they were made to be while embracing their talents. We promise to provide a warm, loving home with lots of birthday parties, friends and family get-togethers, bubble baths, story time, and backyard fun. We promise fun vacations, trips to the zoo, bike rides, ice cream sundaes, and playdates. Most of all, we promise to be as open as you feel comfortable with: pictures, letters, and annual visits to share the beautiful story of your selfless choice to place your child in our care. We look forward to meeting you, and if you would like to learn more about us, please request a copy of our entire profile book from Adoption Professionals.
