Hello,
We’re so grateful for the love you have for your baby as you are thinking of what is best for this little miracle’s future. Writing this letter gives us much hope that we will have the experience of becoming adoptive parents again. Five years ago, our son Freddie came into our lives through the blessing of adoption. Steve & I knew our families and friends would support us, but when they met Freddie we were completely overwhelmed with the love they gave and continue to give towards him. God gave us a miracle at the right time and we never take the sacrifice of Freddie’s birth mother for granted. She will forever be special to us and spoken of with words of ultimate respect and appreciation. Our family can’t wait to welcome another child with open hearts, hugs and endless love! Adoption is common in our family, our niece and two nephews are also a blessing to us through adoption.

Our light-hearted, fun-loving personalities are what attracted us to each other. When we married eleven years ago, I was excited to become a stepmother to Madison (now 22) & Tyson (now 19). Both of them work full time, live on their own and have busy social lives as young adults, but always love getting snuggles from their little brother when they visit us. Our hearts are happy, but still know there is a missing part to our family.

Following six years of serving in the U.S. Army, Steve traded his tank for a textbook and became an 8th grade history teacher. I’m a 5th grade math/science teacher, which has been my dream since I was a little girl. We find joy in our careers and have great schedules for raising a family. Teaching also gives us more excuses to goof around on the playground or “prayground” as Freddie calls it! We especially enjoy those canceled school snow days at home making cinnamon rolls for breakfast and going sledding. Racing Hot Wheels, going to parks, watching sporting events, attending church and family parties are how we enjoy spending our weekends. Summers off school are spent taking trips to the beach or mountains, going swimming, playing baseball in the backyard with Freddie, or dodging water he sprays at us when he grabs the hose! We love, love, love being parents and can’t wait to have more moments like these when another child joins our family.

Our home is filled with many “I love you’s”, tickle fights, dinner conversations, and sometimes a few monster trucks scattered on the floor! We are stable in many aspects, our home, careers, finances, family relationships, and marriage. We live in the same small town I grew up in and close to the majority of our family. Our house is located at the end of the street in a safe subdivision with the kindest neighbors. They were so excited when we adopted Freddie and now can’t wait to see him as a big brother. Sassy and Penny are our snuggly Beagles who are always counting on Freddie to give them extra treats. Their tails will happily be wagging the day we bring another child into our home!

Someday soon we hope to meet you if you wish and learn your story so we can be more supportive of what you are going through. If we are the family you choose, we will be sure your baby forever knows the deep love you have for them. Our family profile book can be requested from Adoption Professionals or viewed on this website link: https://www.mixbook.com/photo-books/interests/a-b-c-1-2-3-meet-steve-stacy-a-teacher-family-31426660?vk=slZmcKhybuCEqud89Ohr. We welcome the type of adoption that you feel is best- open, closed, or somewhere in between. Our prayers are that you have peace of mind regarding any decision you are making for your baby.

Yours respectfully,
Stacy & Steve
