We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to get to know our family. We want you to know that you are loved and supported no matter where you are on your journey; we admire the strength and courage you have in choosing to adopt. We recognize the incredible gift and sacrifice that comes with someone entrusting their child to another family. You are brave, beautiful, and selfless.

A little about us: We met when we were teenagers in 2009 and have been together ever since; we got married in April of 2015 in front of our family and friends. We’ve always talked about having a family of our own since we were kids, knowing that we wanted to adopt them regardless of if we could have children of our own. Right after we got married, we had the unfortunate diagnosis of infertility and remained optimistic that our family would grow by the blessing of adoption as we’ve always planned. We own our home right outside of Dayton with our two golden retrievers, Charlie and Delta, after both moving to Ohio from Florida for professional opportunities.

Peter is a work-from-home IT Analyst for a healthcare company based out of Indiana. He received his Computer Programing degree in 2018 when he lived in Florida; he’s continuing his education to become a Software Engineer. Peter enjoys keeping up with technology by creating applications and learning technological advancements. Peter always knew adoption was in his future; his mother and uncle are both adopted as well as two of his sister’s children.

Kirsten is a work-from-home Talent Coordinator for a healthcare company based out of Ohio. She received both her associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in Human Resources Management in 2019 and 2021. Her biggest passions are crafting, reading, and giving back. She has two brothers, one sister, and over 15 nieces and nephews – which are her world. She says the greatest gift of her lifetime would be to raise a child.

Dreams for our child: We want our future child to reach for the stars and obtain them. Being their adoptive parents, we want them to know that their family doesn’t end with us, they are special in that they have support from everyone. We want our future child to be an independent thinker and use their knowledge to benefit others; we want them to want to give back. We want them to participate in activities, clubs, or teams. We want them to celebrate themselves just like we all celebrate them. We want them to love as they are loved.
