Our journey to adoption has been shaped by hope, resilience, and a deep desire to become parents. Through a journey of infertility, we grew stronger as a couple with a deeper understanding of how much we want to love and raise a child. Adoption is not a second choice for us-it is a path we have come to embrace with intention and gratitude. We have great respect for birth parents and the strength it takes to consider an adoption plan. We approach this journey with humility and hope, and we are committed to honoring the level of connection you feel comfortable with, and if open, we look forward to building a relationship whether through letters and photos, visits, or a combination of both.
Having known each other for ten years and being married for eight, it’s fun to think back through the years and recognize the growth we’ve had through the fun, joy, and challenges. Our life together has been filled with learning and growth: cooking classes, golf lessons, and together exploring our city through parks, arts, and events. It’s this foundation that has not only kept things fun but has strengthened our trust and communication as we prepare to be parents. Reggie, our nine-year old mini-golden doodle ads a big personality to our home. She loves people, and has been raised around nieces and nephews whom she adores.
Our family and friends are a big, loving part of our lives, and we feel lucky to be surrounded by people who truly show up for one another. Pat is the third of four siblings in his family and talks to his siblings and their families daily. Jill has one older sister who is married with three young boys. Her sister has been so helpful in helping us to prepare for a baby! In addition to our family, we have lasting friends who have been with us through the years and with whom we celebrate birthdays and share the mundane and milestones.
Above all, we want your child to grow up knowing they are deeply cherished. We hope they experience a life filled with security, meaningful relationships, laughter around the dinner table, and countless moments that remind them how loved they are.
