Our birth mother support group, GEMS, met last Thursday evening around our traditional fire pit. The fall weather was perfect! The discussion to pick for the evening was “control.” Jerusha led the discussion around recognizing what is and is not within our control- how to recognize the difference and the benefits of “letting go.”
Our next GEMS meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 16th at 6 pm and the topic will be “gratitude.” If you are a birth mother, I hope you will join us!
