Yes.  AP is very experienced in the interstate placement of children and welcomes this more complex work.
No.  We believe that adoption is a private matter and that each prospective adoptive family has unique questions and concerns. For this reason, we work with each applicant one to one. We will meet with you personally when you apply to our agency and answer all of your questions.  Further, your calls and emails are always welcome.   Our director is happy to schedule a Zoom call with you in order to answer all of your preliminary questions.
No.  This allows Adoption Professionals to keep its fees among the lowest in the State of Ohio.
Yes.  This is referred to as an “identified placement”. We handle several of these every year. Because an adoption agency must be involved in every birth parent assessment and must provide post placement visits for every placement in the State of Ohio, it makes sense to have our agency handle the actual placement as well. We reduce our placement fee for identified placements because we are not incurring the costs of advertising and matching the birth mother with you. Typically, our fee is the same as an attorney’s fee for an identified placement.
We strive to complete all homestiudies within 12 weeks. This requires your full cooperation, with respect to scheduling assessor meetings and  gathering state required documentation. When you apply to AP, please be prepared to make completion of  the homestudy your top priority.
