Hi! Thank you for clicking on my profile. I’m Joi and hoping to adopt. I have always dreamed about being a mom and raising a child in a loving home. I would love a chance to grow my family and to learn more about you. I am open to having a relationship with whatever feels the most comfortable for you. I respect openness in adoption and will honor your decisions.

Here’s a little bit about me: In 2016 I earned a doctoral degree in sociology and have worked as a professor in the social sciences at various colleges and universities for a little over 10 years. I love cooking, arts and crafts, traveling, reading, watching movies, hiking, listening to live music, spending time in nature, and visiting with my family and friends. I’m single so your child would receive my unconditional love and undivided attention. My job offers generous benefits and time off for parental leave to comfort and bond with your baby.

About my family: I Come from a tight knit family with 1 brother and a huge extended family. We spend major holidays together (e.g. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, and Easter). My extended family loves to plan trips together during the summers. Usually, we head to the beach! Last summer we visited Greece. My family is very supportive of everything I do, including my efforts to adopt!

About my home and my neighborhood: I own a beautiful 3 -bedroom home in a small town in central Kentucky. My job, local parks, the downtown area, and local elementary schools are all walking distance from my home. One of my favorite things to do is to visit the local parks and take classes at the local art center (i.e. especially ceramics and painting).

I have one 10-year-old cat named Nala. Nala mostly spends time sleeping and playing with her cat toys. She is well-behaved around small children.
