We know this decision must be hard and we want you to know that what you are doing is courageous, loving, and extremely selfless. There is nothing we would love and want more than to add to our family and we feel confident that we are more than ready to grow. We have a lot of love and fun to give and we look forward to meeting the person who is willing and able to become part of our family, giving us the biggest gift we could ask for!
We both grew up in Cincinnati and met when we were kids in grade school. We have been friends for the majority of our lives, ended up dating, and got married in our backyard surrounded by friends and family! Phil has worked in his current sales job for 14 years and Kiki worked as a PreK and Kindergarten teacher for 14 years. Once we adopted Ivy in 2024, Kiki decided to take a break from teaching so she wouldn’t miss a second of watching Ivy grow everyday. We both have been lucky to truly love and enjoy what we do because we are able to help others and be part of supportive communities. Now, with the addition of Ivy, every aspect of our lives has gotten better and so much more fun! She is truly just the best and we could not be more grateful.
Since getting married 5 years ago, we’ve focused on making our house a home, spoiling our two dogs (Calvin & Clyde) and our six backyard chickens, and growing our family. Luckily, we are very close with both our families and our friends who have been a constant example of love and support for us. We come from families and have friends who put each other first. They are all love…celebrating any occasion we can think of! Weekly get-togethers, stopping over for dinner or just to say hi, birthdays, holidays…we make a party of it all! We are lucky to be part of families and have friends who are supportive, welcoming, and a lot of fun!
