Hello! Thank you for taking the time and allowing us to share a little about us and be a part of your journey. We cannot begin to imagine the decision in front of you, but your strength and courage is truly admirable in choosing adoption for your baby.
We met in high school and have been together ever since! We met on summer vacation with our families in Hilton Head, South Carolina on the beach and only lived 20 miles from each other and went to rival high schools. We have always wanted a family and longed for it since we have been together. Our journey to parenthood has not been easy, as we have multiple failed IVF rounds that allowed us to realize the wonderful opportunity adoption gives us as parents and to a loving birthmother.
Jason’s passion for helping others truly shows in his career in health care, specifically hospice. Nicole works from home with her family-owned marketing company. She has been able to take advantage of the flexibility of time it allows her.
Our house sits on a quiet cul-de-sac with a mix of all ages around. We have a great neighborhood to walk or ride bikes in and a community park within walking distance. We love taking evening walks and enjoying conversations with our neighbors, and watching the neighborhood kids play until the sun goes down. We love our area because of the maturity of the trees, and the uniqueness of each house. We are very lucky to have a nice open layout to entertain and gather with friends, family and neighbors.
We love to stay active in our spare time. We enjoy sports, working in the yard, and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Jason almost went to culinary school, so he loves cooking. Nicole loves to help, and we both relish the time we spend each evening together in our kitchen. When we have the time, we love to travel. We enjoy learning about new areas, cultures, and trying new foods. We try to go at least once a year to Hilton Head, South Carolina, since it has always been such a big part of our lives.
We are grateful that you have taken a small look into our lives here. We understand the monumental decision in front of you. We have said from the very beginning to each other that this child will be DOUBLE loved from the very moment they are here! The love you have for your child is beyond measure already. Our biggest prayer has always been to be blessed with a child to love and cherish as our own. See… DOUBLE loved! No matter where your journey leads you, we hope you know and find comfort knowing that you will have chosen a path where your child will be regarded as the biggest blessing and will be cherished everyday.
