Hello! We are Colin and Emilee. Thank you for taking the time to read about us, we hope it gives you a good idea of who we are. We met in college and have been together for 7 years. We would love nothing more than to become parents and we feel so ready for whatever this process has in store for us. Infertility was a part of our story, but only a small chapter, because we are sure we are meant to become parents through adoption. We really appreciate your time and know this must be a hard decision, but we want you to know that we think you are making a brave and selfless choice.
Emilee grew up in Cincinnati and Colin grew up in Youngstown. We both went to Ohio University and became not only college sweethearts, but best friends. Together, we have a large and wonderful support system that consists of our parents, siblings, friends and so many more. We have the privelege of working together for Emilee’s parents. Emilee works from home and is excited to be able to stay home with our future kiddos. Colin works wherever he’s needed, and does travel for work sometimes, but both of us are home more often than we would be with a more traditional job and we are grateful for that. 
We live in the sweetest small town outside of Cincinnati with our adorable 2 year old golden retriever. We are a short drive from Emilee’s parents (who can’t wait to become grandparents) and an even shorter drive to the family farm where we like to spend weekends. When we aren’t at the farm or with family, we both really enjoy traveling. We were both lucky to travel a good bit as children, and agree that that is something we want to do with our future children as well. We believe the world has so much to offer and love experiencing new things together. Emilee’s favorite hobbies include reading, embroidery, and any kind of crafting. Colin plays guitar for our church band and really enjoys hiking. We make it a point to spend a lot of quality time as a couple and are excited to include a little one in that when we become parents.
Our goals as parents will be to show unwavering love to our children and to raise them to be kind humans. We will make sure they never doubt how much they are loved and how special they truly are. We have already been beyond lucky to find each other, but we can’t help but want to share that love with our future children. We have built a life we would be happy to bring a child into and a relationship strong enough to handle parenthood.
