Hello! We’re Brittany and Daniel, and we’re so grateful you’re taking a moment to get to know us. We’re the proud parents of a fun-loving 4-year-old named Corbin, and we’ve been dreaming of growing our family through adoption. While we can’t fully understand what you’re going through, we admire the strength and love you have for your child in considering this path. We hope that by learning a little more about us, you’ll feel some peace and comfort in your decision.
We met online, and after a year of being together, we got married in 2019. Shortly after in 2021, we bought our first home and welcomed Corbin into the world. Just three months after his birth, Corbin was hospitalized due to a brain bleed. We later found out it was caused by a rare genetic liver condition. This experience changed our lives! It deepened our love, strengthened our bond, and gave us a new perspective on what truly matters – don’t take anything for granted. Although we’ve made the decision not to have more biological children because of the genetic condition, our desire to grow our family never changed. Our hearts are open and ready to share all the love we have with another child.
Daniel works as a building mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service and is a wonderful, hands-on dad. Brittany is a pediatric ICU nurse and works just one day a week, allowing her to spend most of her time at home with Corbin—and hopefully, soon, another little one. Corbin is full of energy and joy, and just started Pre-K. We know he’s going to make the sweetest, most caring big brother especially when it comes to our family enjoying the little things together. For example: playing outside, going on spontaneous adventures, visiting family, or traveling to see new places.
Whether we’re cheering on the Bengals or baking cookies for the holidays, we’re happiest when we’re together. After everything we’ve been through, we don’t take a single moment for granted. We look forward to the day we can include another child in all of these special moments. We have lots of fun family traditions like annual trips to Chicago and Florida to see extended family, big holiday dinners, family vacations, and family Christmas photos. We look forward to the day we can include another child in all of these special moments.
Thank you, truly, for taking the time to learn about us. We may not know each other yet, but please know that we are ready to open our hearts and home. If you choose us, we’re open to whatever level of connection feels right for you—we want what’s best for you and your child.
