Hello! We are Ben and Alex, and we are thrilled to share our story with you. Thank you for taking
the time to get to know us. Our journey has been a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter,
faith, and the decision to embrace the joys of adoption. Our “how we met story” is one of our
favorite stories to tell. Alex’s sister, Michelle, was dating one of Ben’s cousins named Jack. One
evening, Ben was hanging out with Michelle and Jack when Michelle started showing Jack
pictures of her recent trip down to see Alex play soccer at college. Ben immediately asked if he
could see the picture. When he saw Alex, he knew he wanted to ask her on a date. At the time,
Alex was in a relationship, but Ben waited patiently. After two years, Ben got his chance to take
Alex out on a date. We know it is cliche, but it was love at first sight, and we have been
inseparable since. We have been together since 2015 and got married in 2017. We welcomed our
son, William, in 2019. Hands down, becoming parents has been the absolute best and most
meaningful thing we have ever done with our lives. After experiencing many years of secondary
infertility, we are pursuing adoption. Adoption has always been on our hearts and was discussed
prior to even having William. We love William and adore being his parents. We know that our
family has so much love and joy to bring and would love to share that with another child.
William is VERY excited about having a sibling and often refers to our nephews as his brothers.
We promise if your child were to join our family that he/she would know how beautifully and
wonderfully they were made in the image of God. The respect, gratitude and admiration we have
for you cannot be appropriately expressed in words. We can never thank you enough.

Alex works as a Developmental Interventionist with First Steps in Kentucky. In this role she
works with babies and toddlers ages 0-3 who have been identified as having a developmental
delay. Alex works with the caregivers to identify the child's needs and work with them on
common goals to bridge the gap between where the child is and where they should be. Alex
loves children and was previously a special education teacher for seven years before switching
roles. When Alex is not working or taking care of William, you can find her reading, listening to
True Crime podcasts, or exercising with our two dogs. Alex is also dedicated to her faith and has
a servant leader mentality. She serves on the board for a non-profit that serves to provide funds
so children with developmental disabilities can attend private schools in KY.

Ben is a CFO for Prestige Electrical Services. In this role, he helps to take care of all things
financial for his family's electrical company. It has always been a dream for Ben to work with his
dad so when this opportunity arose for him, he jumped right on it! It has been a blessing for
William to see Ben working with his dad as well as for him to see the power of teamwork and
commitment within his family. When Ben is not working or taking care of Will, he can be found
golfing, running, or perfecting his Chess game. Ben is very dedicated to his faith as well as
serves on a yearly mission trip to Jamaica where he builds structures and takes care of anything
that needs to be done for an orphanage there that serves individuals with disabilities.

When we chose our forever home, we wanted it to be in a neighborhood with lots of
children, close to family, and close to our church. We checked all of those boxes with this
house. We have loads of kiddos that live by us, a community pool, community park, and

walking trails. Alex’s parents live up the street from us and most of our family lives within
20 minutes! Finally, our church and the private school our kiddos will attend is only 15
minutes away. Our home is a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath house with a large playroom and yard for
activities. We hope to put in a fence soon for our pups and a playset–Will loves to
swing! Will’s favorite thing about our house is that he has lots of room to run around and a
big basement for his bouncy house!

Our ultimate goal as parents is to lead our children to Heaven. We know that while our
children may be here with us, ultimately, they are God’s children first. We believe that
parenthood is sanctifying, and we take our call seriously. Any child entrusted in our care is
seen as a unique gift. We parent with intention–never making any decision about our
children lightly.

Thank you for taking the time to look through our profile and consider us to be the
parents of your child. We know that this decision is not taken lightly. Please know we
have been praying for you and your child for many years and that will never stop. You
are loved, cherished, and fully known just like your child. May God bless you and keep
you always.
