Hi! We are Andy and Erica, and we would like to thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us!

We are a couple from Cincinnati, Ohio and we have been married since 2014. Our relationship began as a friendship after we met at a Bengals game in 2007. What started as a simple connection grew into a deep friendship, and eventually into a marriage and a life built around shared experiences. We love attending sporting events, traveling, hiking, spending time with our loved ones, and being at home with our dog, Daisy. In 2020, we moved into our forever home to be closer to family and to enjoy more outdoor activities.

After many years of trying to grow our family, we are excited and grateful to pursue adoption. We understand the weight and significance of this decision, and we promise to love a child unconditionally while honoring and respecting their birth family, whether the adoption is open or closed. Adoption holds a special meaning for us because it has shaped our own families. Andy was adopted by his father as a young child, and Erica’s father was adopted after spending much of his childhood in the foster system. These personal connections have deeply influenced our values and strengthened our belief in the power of love, stability, and community.

Andy grew up in Ohio with three siblings and has always valued family, especially the time he spent with his grandparents. He works in his family’s logistics business, which offers flexibility and allows him to prioritize family life. He enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, boating, and spending time outdoors, but he also appreciates quiet evenings at home. Andy is known for his optimism and outgoing personality. He loves making his nieces and nephews laugh and looks forward to bringing that same joy and energy into fatherhood.

Erica also grew up surrounded by close family and friends. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, she became a middle school teacher and has spent the past 14 years teaching and coaching volleyball and track. She is passionate about education, mentorship, and building meaningful relationships with students and families. She feels that her experience as an educator has prepared her well for the patience, encouragement, and care that parenthood requires. Outside the classroom, she loves sports, traveling, hiking, reading, exploring new places, and going to concerts.

Together, we have created a warm and welcoming home in a close-knit community near family, friends, and beautiful outdoor spaces. We love traveling — from national parks to international destinations — and we look forward to sharing adventures, both big and small, with a child. Surrounded by supportive grandparents, siblings, cousins, and our beloved Wheaten Terrier, Daisy, we are eager to provide a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment. Above all, we are thankful for the opportunity to share our story and promise to provide a home where a child will always feel deeply loved and cherished. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us. If you have any questions or are interested in learning more about us, please contact Adoption Professionals. We appreciate you and your consideration of us as a family for your child.
