Our birth mother support group, GEMS (Giving Each Mother Support), was established in 2009 to meet the unfulfilled need for local support in the tri-state area for women who have chosen adoption. Over the years, our group has become a source of enduring friendships and unwavering support, offering a safe and nurturing space for women touched by adoption to come together, share experiences, and find solace. We are committed to creating a compassionate, non-judgmental, and confidential environment where birth mothers can openly share, listen, and uplift each other as they navigate their post-adoption journey. We provide guidance on navigating the various steps of adoption and open adoption issues. We are a local adoption agency that offers both in-person and virtual meetings.
