“I could never place my child for adoption.”
It’s a phrase so many people say, and honestly, I get it. Adoption is rarely someone’s first choice. Most of us don’t grow up dreaming that this will be part of our story.
But sometimes, life circumstances challenge us to think differently. As an expectant mother facing uncertainty, fear, or even impossible decisions, you may find yourself considering options you never thought you’d need to. And I want you to know: that’s okay.
I’ve been there.
I didn’t grow up wanting to choose adoption for my baby either.
But as my love grew for my child, I grew into my decision. It became the right answer for that moment in time, and maybe, you’re feeling drawn to explore it too.
Choosing adoption doesn’t make you weak.
It doesn’t mean you’re giving up.
If anything, it shows that you’re willing to do one of the hardest things imaginable for the sake of love. It shows you’re strong enough to consider every possible path to give your child the best life, even if that path breaks your heart.
If you’re considering adoption in Kentucky, Indiana or Ohio, and you need someone to talk to, someone who gets it, we’re here.
