Hello!
We are Ross and Katie! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little better! Though infertility has been a part of our journey- adoption has always been something we knew we wanted to pursue as we have seen the positive impact that it can have on so many lives. Our friends would describe us as the most stable but spontaneous couple- reliable & loyal but you never know what adventure they will do next.
We have been happily married for 10 years! We met in high school and have been inseparable ever since; we are best friends. Ross’ family is originally from OK and Katie was born and raised in OH, but we transplanted to Cincinnati to finish college and found jobs here afterwards. We are frequently traveling to visit family and take trips to new exotic places as often as possible- we believe experiences provide the best education.
We are always hosting at our home- whether it’s Friday night dinners, Easter lunch or the summer pool party! We want everyone to feel warm and welcome when they walk into our home- it’s a sanctuary for all. Including the cat that was dropped on our doorstep, his name is Rocky, and he is the perfect host- he greets then retreats to his tower (the couch) to judge. We live on a quiet street and many families walk or ride their bikes in the evenings. We have a strong, supportive community that has loved us since we moved here and it continues to grow. Although we love our current home, the dream is to build our home on land with space to roam and explore
Ross works as a Project Cost Manager for a commercial construction company. Katie works as a Sales Enablement Specialist for a software company, and she has the flexibility to work hybrid and remote which is great for raising a family. We love what we do but our 1st priority will always be our family. We LOVE being outside; riding ATVs, hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, gardening- you name it- we will do it, as long as it’s outside! We love the amenities that the outside has to offer but prefer the glamping style over the true camping style.
Thank you for considering us as a part of your journey. We intend to educate our child on their origin story and support them in that discovery.
