Hi! We are James and Heather. We are so excited that you want to learn more about us! We met a little over 12 years ago and were married 9 years ago. We knew that we wanted to start a family, but have not been able to because of infertility problems. Last year we had a long talk and decided that our lives would not be complete without someone else to share our lives with, and at that point we stopped all infertility treatments and looked forward to adoption. As my Mom told me “there is a little soul out there that is waiting for its Mommy and Daddy, and wherever it comes from, however it finds its way to you, that baby WILL find its way”.

We are close with our families, and most are in town! James’s sister has 3 girls – two are 13 and one is 10. Heather’s cousins and sister have just started their families, and the babies are 3, 2, and 1. In addition, two cousins are each expecting 1 more by the end of the year! We hope that we will be able to adopt our baby soon, so that all the cousins can be close in age, and have close relationships!

We have a beautiful home in a very family-friendly neighborhood. We have lots of room in the backyard for swings, slides, and playhouses. James likes to garden and has a large garden in our yard that has tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, radishes, beans, corn, etc. We both like to travel, read, and spend time with family and friends.
